Our suite of APIs has processed over 60M+ million transactions and $133B+ in volume from more than 6 million users trading on apps like Coinbase Wallet, Robinhood Wallet, Metamask, Zerion, Zapper, and more.\n\nYOUR ROLE AS HEAD OF OF ENGINEERING AT 0x\n\nIn this role, youโ€™ll lead engineering across all our products, covering Matcha, 0x API, Pricing Engine, and Platform. It is a senior and highly motivated team. Your mission will be to keep the engineering team moving quickly and flexibly and shape and foster the engineering culture for the company.\n\nYouโ€™ll effectively bridge communication from business leaders to the engineering team, and vice versa. Youโ€™ll help the team maintain a healthy pace for long-term sustainability by carefully balancing velocity vs. technical debt. Status desktop is currently built using Nim & QT for the frontend, and it shares a common backend with Status mobile that is written in Go. Role responsibilities include developing new features, creating and enhancing components in our QML UI toolkit component library, advising and assisting other members of the desktop dev team with solving challenging QML UI development problems, and perhaps working on the Go backend if this is something you would enjoy.
