Baton Health is hiring a
Remote Product Manager

\nAbout the company \n\nBaton Health is on a mission to modernize healthcare credentialing by eliminating costly and manual processes. \n\n \n\nTo ensure patient safety, any practitioner is required to be credentialed. This multi-step and often tedious, 2-6 month process verifies the practitionersโ€™ qualifications to practice medicine and is a key requirement to getting paid for providing care. Baton Health accelerates providersโ€™ access to patients by automating many of the manual processes associated with credentialing and enrollment. Our Universal Primary Source is the first federated data system bringing together hundreds of primary sources to assemble the entire universe of practitioner licensure and soon will include all primary sources across the entire span of primary source verification (PSV) requirements. \n\n \n\nAbout the role\n\nWe are looking for a Product Manager to join and directly shape our early-stage team. You will have the chance to define and work on the foundational elements of our company, work closely with the founding team, and guide the product's direction. Depending on your skillset, inclination, and experience, you will either be responsible for developing and maintaining our customer-facing product surfaces, including our web app and API, or our data ingestion and entity resolution for our most valuable asset โ€” primary source information about healthcare practitioners\n\n \n\nAs part of a lean startup team, weโ€™re looking for individuals who are self-starters, ambitious, scrappy, can manage ambiguity, and ready to grow within a hyper-growth organization. Your primary focus will be on building out Batonโ€™s user-facing web application, allowing organizations to maintain their practitioner roster right in Baton. Partnering with the CEO, Director of Product, engineers, and our development partners, you will design, implement, and deploy scalable solutions to the problems facing those who are required to perform credentialing.\n\n \n\nYou will report to the Director of Product and work remotely, with opportunities to meet and work in person in NYC. \n\nWhat youโ€™ll do: \n\n\n* Lead continuous discovery of the opportunity space with customers of varying size, facilitating ideation of potential solutions, and validating assumptions to ensure that implementations measurably address customer needs, pain points, and desires.\n\n* Drive monetization, retention, and revenue generation efforts for customers of all sizes โ€” from the largest healthcare organizations in the country to the smallest medical practices\n\n* Collect input from users to identify and prioritize the most-important methods of entity resolution to implement.\n\n* With support from the CEO and Director of Product, apply your experience and curiosity to continuously build your subject matter expertise on the provider credentialing market, driving opportunities for automation and earning the trust of customers and integration partners\n\n* Work closely with design and engineering to ensure the ease-of-use and scale of the platform, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.\n\n* Establish mechanisms for ongoing user feedback and integrate it into your product vision, developing your own roadmap for the next two to five years of Baton.\n\n* Support the growth of teams needed to support the product, helping to interview and hire our engineering, marketing, operations, and design teams.\n\n* Seek out and nurture opportunities to improve our own and our customersโ€™ operational efficiency, automating away what others might hire to fill a gap.\n\n* Form the core of our growing product team as we scale to complete our vision.\n\n\n\nWhat youโ€™ll need:\n\nBackground: \n\n\n* 2 to 5 years of experience as a hands-on Product Manager leading engineering teams through an agile or agile-like delivery process.\n\n* Experience serving customers in highly regulated industries or with tightly-constrained customer requirements\n\n* Demonstrated history of steering projects from ambiguity to concrete implementation\n\n* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills and are able to work effectively in a collaborative lean startup environment.\n\n* Ability to switch from technical minutiae to large, company-wide initatives \n\n\n\n\nSkills: \n\nManages Ambiguity. Deals comfortably with the uncertainty of change. Effectively handles risk. Can decide and act without having the total picture. Is calm, and productive, even when things are up in the air. Deals constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes. Operating effectively, even when things are not certain of the way forward is unclear.\n\nDrive Results. Has a strong bottom-line orientation. Persists in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. Has a track record of exceeding goals successfully. Pushes self and helps others achieve results. Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.\n\nCommunicates & Collaborates. Adjusts to fit the audience and the message. Provides timely and helpful information to others across the organization. Encourages the open expression of diverse ideas and opinions. \nAbout Us:\n\nCityblock Health is the first tech-driven provider for communities with complex needsโ€”bringing better care to where itโ€™s needed most, block by block. Founded in 2017 on the premise that โ€œhealth is localโ€ and based in Brooklyn, we are backed by Alphabetโ€™s Sidewalk Labs along with some of the top healthcare investors in the country.\n\nOur mission is to improve the health of underserved communities. Importantly, our solutions are designed specifically for Medicaid and lower-income Medicare beneficiaries, and we meet our members where they are, bringing care into the home and neighborhoods through our community-based care teams and Virtual Care offerings.\n\nIn close collaboration with community-based organizations, local providers, and leading health plans, we are reorganizing the health system to focus on what matters to our members. Equipped with world-class, custom care delivery technology, we deliver personalized primary care, behavioral health, and social services to deliver a radically better experience of care for every member and community we serve.\n\nOver the next year, weโ€™ll grow quickly to bring better care to many more members and their communities. To do this, we need people who, like us, believe that everyone should have good care for what matters to them, in their community. \n\nOur work is grounded in a belief in the power of a diverse community. To close gaps in care and advance equity in the communities we serve, we have to start with making our own team diverse and inclusive. Our ways of working are characterized by creativity, collaboration, and mutual learning that comes from bringing together a community from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. In this role, you should feel comfortable working with and advising experienced business executives, technical stakeholders, engineers, product managers, and clinical teams. This analyst will act as a technical mentor and leader across the analytics team to assist with code reviews, question design, and stakeholder management. This analyst could find themself supporting clinical leaders to design member care models, analyzing experiments, designing tables with data engineers, and building new data-based tools to solve complex operational problems.\n\nYou might be a good fit for this role if you get excited about diving headfirst into challenging problems, untangling complex healthcare data, and creating new ways to communicate findings across diverse audiences. A sense of curiosity, a desire to learn new skills, and flexibility in a fast-moving organization are essential.\n\nDo you have a passion for health care data? Advising executives with data-driven solutions? Learning new skills? Working with and for folks from all backgrounds and identities? Cityblock Health is hiring a
Remote Data Analyst 2 Risk Adjustment

We strive to ensure that every person on the Cityblock team, and every Cityblock member, feels supported and included as a part of our community.\n\nOur Values:\n\n\nAim for Understanding\n\nBe All In\n\nBring Your Whole Self\n\nLean Into Discomfort\n\nPut Members First\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nAs a member of the Burden of Illness (BOI) Analytics team, the individual in this role will have a focus on performing in-depth financial analytics providing comprehensive, thoughtful feedback to our operational team as Cityblock builds out a best-in-class risk adjustment function. \n\nHealth care data is complex and vast, so you must be excited about sinking your teeth into complex problems, untangling them and communicating your findings to the team. The partners we work with, the markets we operate in, the membership we serve, varies across different blocks of our business. Also, healthcare data is seldom perfectly clean and consistent, so you must be willing to spend the time to understand the data as a foundational component to the work. You will have the opportunity to learn, improve and expand the analytic assets available to the team and our core stakeholders. \n\nIn addition, your work will help our market leads understand the drivers of the financial performance under their contracts with payers in each market. You will work with members of the Coding and Billing team, clinicians and strategy to interpret emerging trends within our risk adjustment performance. You will help formulate complex analytics to be consumable by business leaders. \n\nWe are seeking a curious, experienced data analyst to design and build analytic solutions that will inform business decisions, drive operations, measure our performance and demonstrate our value as a company. If you have a passion for health care data, creating solutions, driving value with analytics insights, and are an amazing teammate, we want to hear from you!\n\nRequirements for the Role:\n\n\n* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field: computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, health sciences or related field; or equivalent experience\n\n* Risk Adjustment model knowledge either Medicare or Medicaid (HCC, CDPS+Rx)\n\n* Exposure to healthcare data (payor claims processing, EDI, EHR, HIE, PBM)\n\n* 3 + years experience as a Data Analyst within the healthcare industry \n\n* Experience with business intelligence (data visualization and dashboarding) such as Tableau, Looker, Sisense\n\n* Proficiency with SQL for multiple databases (BigQuery, standard MSSQL, PL/SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Teradata)\n\n* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\n\n* Strong problem solving skills and growth mindset are essential\n\n\n\n\nWhat Weโ€™d Like From You:\n\n\nA resume and/or LinkedIn profile \n\n\n\n\n \n\nCityblock values diversity as a core tenet of the work we do and the populations we serve. We are an equal opportunity employer, indiscriminate of race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic.\n\n-\n\nWe do not accept unsolicited resumes from outside recruiters/placement agencies. Cityblock will not pay fees associated with resumes presented through unsolicited means.\n\nWe take into account an individualโ€™s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the companyโ€™s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The expected salary range for this position is $111,510 to $120,000. The actual offer will be at the companyโ€™s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidateโ€™s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design and Design jobs that are similar:\n\n $50,000 — $110,000/year\n

๐Ÿ‘‰ Please reference you found the job on Remote OK, this helps us get more companies to post here, thanks!

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy equipment which they then pay you back for later. Also never pay for trainings you have to do. Those are scams! NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. A good idea is to check the domain name for the site/email and see if it's the actual company's main domain name. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! Read more to avoid scams. When clicking on the button to apply above, you will leave Remote OK and go to the job application page for that company outside this site.
