\nYour Opportunity at ARCโTERYX:\nAs the Senior Salesforce Marketing Engineer you develop, deploy, analyze, utilize, and maintain software, tools, applications, and information systems to meet the business requirements of the company in a demanding global marketplace. In this role, you will contribute to the development of the Salesforce CRM platforms, as well as coach peer developers, support activities, and contribute to the technology strategy for Arcโteryx. \n You will also contribute to the architecture, design methodology, and technology strategy alongside architects and the development lead. Your balance of strong technical skills, technology acumen, and people skills contributes to consistent, high-quality, and timely solutions for the internal business clients.\n\n\nThis role can be hired remote. Business operations occur in Pacific time zone.\n\n\nMeet Your Future Team:\n \nYou will be working on a small and collaborative team that works with many departments across Arcโteryx. We value learning and growth and strive to deliver the best solutions to the teams using Salesforce and other systems.\n \nThe team is responsible for building and maintaining our CRM. The team is organized into squads that include other developers, Administrators, Quality Analysts, Business Analysts and Project Managers. Salesforce developers work closely and collaboratively with many other teams including Infrastructure, Marketing, Analytics, and Operation teams.\n\n\n\nIf you were the Senior Salesforce Marketing Engineer role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:\n* Communicating project and operation status, issues, risks and resolutions in an agile development methodology. \n* Providing coaching to your peers on the Salesforce development teams in all phases of the project life cycle. \n* Building and architecting solutions in Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Cloud Pages. \n* Understanding of marketing automation technology and salesforce marketing cloud ecosystem of integrations and integrations REST & SOAP, WSProxy.\n* Familiarity of working and building GDPR & CCPA processes withing marketing cloud environments.\n* Building and continually evolving the DevOps process at Arcโteryx with industry trends and best practices. \n* Develop and manage integration endpoints from the Salesforce platform and understand, develop, and manage Salesforce external service. \n* Working with large volumes of data and building data mapping processes to marketing cloud and other integrations. \n* Analyze Salesforce technical debt and propose solutions and implement solutions. \n* Proactive system maintenance and code monitoring including security reviews, release updates, code reviews of other developers. \n* Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security, and integration capabilities\n* Providing documentation, training, consulting and insights on Salesforce best practices, trends, and upcoming features to Arcโteryx teams.\n* Developing functional specifications and designs for future focused complex applications, or modifying/maintaining complex existing applications \n* Reviewing the designs and code of team members, often in collaboration with colleagues and Architects. \n\n\n\n Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:\n* Focusing on growing and building scalable solutions on our Marketing cloud platform.\n* Initiating and championing code reuse, eliminating tech debt, platform optimization, and quality across various applications \n* Implementing and streamlining processes that validate compliance, security, and performance. \n* Designing and implementing scalable solutions that across our suite of salesforce products which include Experience cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Personalization, and Service Cloud. \n* Supporting the rest of the team with technical guidance\n\n\n\nAre you our next Senior Salesforce Marketing Engineer?\n* You have a bachelorโs degree or post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n* You have 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or equivalent role.\n* You have experience working with Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud Personalization.\n* You have completed the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator, Email Specialist, and Developer certifications.\n* You have experience working on campaign metrics such as conversion, unsubscribe, and bounce rates, as well as IP reputation, deliverability.\n* Strong HTML, CSS, Javascript, and AMP Script for building and designing visually appealing email templates.\n* You have strong knowledge of APIs, external sources integration.\n* You have a proactive attitude to platform enhancements.\n* You build strong test scripts and thoroughly test your solutions.\n* You have strong attention to detail and ability to create & follow documentation.\n* You have demonstrated success working in an Agile methodology, are familiar with tools like Jira and DevOps practices.\n* You have excellent communication and influencing skills.\n* You have excellent time management skills with the ability to plan and meet deadlines.\n* You have a passion for Salesforce technology and continuous improvement.\n* You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.\n* You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.\n* You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration.\n* You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement.\n* You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right.\n* Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it\n\n\n\n\n\nEqual Opportunity\n\n\nArcโteryx is committed to actively creating and fostering a culture of inclusivity where voices are heard, people are seen, and values are respected.
