\nScalable Path is looking for a Full-stack Node & React Developer for Chrome Extension to join the team and work on a client project. This is a remote, full-time position.\n\nCLIENT COMPANY DESCRIPTION:\nThe client's application is a no-code productivity tool for individuals at work. They believe that working professionals should be able to concentrate on their actual work, not tedious and repetitive tasks that come along with it. That’s why they designed a product that takes data that is siloed across different online services and makes it work TOGETHER so that it can trigger relevant automation at the right time and in real-time. They think that taking out the tediousness of day to day tasks shouldn’t be difficult nor should it be left to the executive and virtual assistants – and that’s exactly how we empower their users to do it on their own!\n\nTheir current product goal is to be the "go-to productivity Chrome extension" by handling a user's scheduling, tasks, and outreach needs better than an executive assistant. They are VC-funded and are in an exciting space (no-code automation!) with a great vision and a lot of features planned in their product roadmap over the next year!\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nYou will be adding new features to an existing application based around a Chrome extension. You'll need to write code on both the server-side (Node) & client-side (React) and follow existing coding style conventions.\n\nHere are some of the project you might work on:\n(1) Implementing a backend for the Chrome extension and setting up a third party DB and integrating with the chrome extension so local storage is no longer used\n(2) Using the backend, create a personalized webpage for logged in users and implement a scheduling page (similar to Calendly). Mockups will be provided. Transfer/integrate with an existing website on Squarespace.\n(3) Create a mobile Gmail/GSuite add-on for the chrome extension (https://developers.google.com/gsuite/add-ons/overview)\nPossible Future Features:\n(4) Text expander and email templates automation (based off the open source https://github.com/carlinyuen/ChromeAutoTextExpander )\n(5) Intelligent task scheduling & tracking. users enter tasks and have them intelligently scheduled into an existing calendar\n\nRELATIONSHIPS - WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH:\nYou'll be working with the founder (who is also a developer) who is based in New York and 2 developers. The client is in the America/New York (-04:00) EDT time zone.\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS:\n- Strong written and spoken English\n- JavaScript (React and Node)\n- HTML/CSS\n- Comfortable integrating 3rd party APIs\n- Jest and Enzyme (for automated tests)\n- MongoDB\n- Ability to work within an existing design system and create new functionality with good user experience (sometimes without detailed designs for everything)\n\nSTART DATE:\nAs soon as possible.\n\nEXPECTED CONTRACT DURATION:\n1-2 months \n\nHOURLY RATE:\n\nThe pay rate for this role is from $30 - $45 USD per hour, depending on experience and capability.yagJzhkdapAsCMnUw7CpJAMi

Publish and update live content and instantly embed it into your site or social media platforms such as Pinterest or Snapchat. Join us and be part of the movement to enable everyone to create experiences that matter.\n\nOur customers include some of the world’s leading brands, such as Mashable, Bloomberg, Red Bull, United Airlines, and AIG.\n\nWe are well-funded and venture-backed by prominent investors including Grotech Ventures, Greycroft, and Starvest Partners.\n\nThe Role\n\nDesigning and building the Ceros platform is not an easy task. We require the best-of-the-best web developers, designers, and QA testers, ready to bring the functionality of desktop software to the web, often pushing web browsers to the limits of what’s currently possible.\n\nOur codebase is 95% JavaScript and the Ceros product is comprised of multiple single-page applications with a client-heavy focus. We use libraries like jQuery, Require, and Backbone. The Ceros Studio is architected around the HTML5 Canvas element. We’re not language zealots. We believe in using the right tool for the job, and our current server-side infrastructure runs PHP, Node.js, Redis, AWS Aurora, Docker, Jenkins, etc. on the Amazon AWS cloud.\n\nAs part of the Ceros product team, you’ll be working with a small, cross-functional group of the most talented people you’ve ever worked with. We hire only passionate and creative people with a proven and unquestionable ability to execute, and every member of the team is equally responsible for moving the product forward.\n\nWe have a dynamic company culture that collaborates daily. We care deeply about the user experience, and we debate passionately about our ideas. When you work at Ceros, you check your ego at the door, and you aren’t afraid to be honest, especially to yourself. We take our jobs seriously but ourselves not so much -- whether it’s cracking jokes in the chat room or poking fun at the CEO’s atrocious spelling.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n\n* writing maintainable code (probably goes without saying)\n\n* having your day ruined by functional QA testers who find every bug you write\n\n* planning and leading high-complexity stories and epics\n\n* reviewing story docs and offering insights on impacts to other parts of the application\n\n* performing code reviews and helping to enforce our code and architectural standards\n\n* participating as a primary on-call resource for service disruptions\n\n* handling superfriend responsibilities with minimal assistance\n\n* acting as release owner\n\n* mentoring other developers\n\n* suggesting new technologies and techniques to improve developer productivity\n\n* agonizing over the user experience until even a trained monkey could use the product\n\n* collaborating with and mentoring your peers on security best practices\n\n* and finally, deploying your code to production and seeing the customer create something amazing and beautiful with it.\n\n\n\n\nKey Things to Know\n\n\n* This is a remote role\n\n* We want you to start ASAP\n\n* This is a full-time position\n\n\n\n\nBenefits\n\n\n* Competitive salary\n\n* Unlimited vacation days\n\n* Stock options\n\n* Premium health insurance\n\n* Excellent gear (15” Macbook Pro, iPad, external monitor, etc.)\n\n* Paid Parental Leave\n\n\nyagJzhkdapAsCMnUw7CpJAMi

\nArt+Logic is looking for Full Stack Web Developers to work with us on interesting custom software projects. We’ve been around since 1991, and we’re still going strong. \n\nOur ideal developers thrive in the environment of variety and challenge that is inherent to custom software development, working with us in a long-term relationship over many projects for numerous clients.\n\nSince we do custom software development, the skills and needs for each project can vary widely. This goes beyond just the languages we use, to the industries and problem domains we work in. We look for generalists; most importantly those who are excited to learn and take on new challenges. You can expect to grow both in your strength and your versatility when working here. We want to help you do so.\n\nWe work remotely all over the United States and Canada. We expect you to be able to work well on your own and comfortably with teams. You won’t have someone looking over your shoulder so you'll need to be communicative and reliable, and hold yourself accountable. We depend on each other.\n\nArt+Logic is run by humans, who work and create using technology. Things can go wrong and we need to respond to the unexpected by being kind, considerate, fair, flexible, and calm. We treat our clients and peers as respectfully as we would like to be treated.\n\nHere’s an example of some projects we’ve worked on recently, so you can better understand the wide range of projects and challenges we undertake:\n\n\n* Implementing a Django-based DoD CAC card login\n\n* Writing a data model layer using SQLAlchemy to provide an object-oriented view of a legacy relational database schema. This model layer provides all business rules and data integrity using advanced python3 features. This data model in turn serves a REST API (python-pyramid) consumed by an advanced single-page web application written with Marionette (Backbone)\n\n* Created Windows tablet application to communicate with client's modbus hardware and upload data to Python/Django/Vue webapp for analysis and display\n\n\n\n\nWhat we want from you: (aka: skills)\n\nWe currently have a high demand for Python, specifically Django, and JavaScript web framework experience. \n\nHowever, more important than that, we are looking for people who are curious and looking for opportunities to learn. People who like learning and creating on their own. Those who are able to drive themselves or even lead others when completing projects. Developers who are able to organize and express their ideas. Communication is paramount here.\n\nRelationship Details:\n\nWe are looking for Contractors (1099) for long term open-ended relationships. Work hours are flexible; requiring reasonable overlap with normal working hours to support team communications, and not just nights and weekends. Our rates range from $35-$55/hour. We are ONLY looking for people in the United States and Canada.\n\nWe want you to enjoy working for us, and to be able to have a life outside of work. Since you're not commuting you can embrace the freedom of working from where you enjoy living, and use the saved time for your personal life and relationships. We don’t ask our developers to work consistently over 40 hours/week. \n\nIt’s important to us in the hiring process that we allow developers to demonstrate their abilities by actually developing something, because a list of previous employers or educational background aren’t always indicators of what someone can do. All applicants are asked to submit a solution to a programming challenge that emulates a task we might assign on a project. yagJzhkdapAsCMnUw7CpJAMi

\nWhat we have\n\nOur current web applications are built using an older SPA framework that is nearing retirement age, withan ASP.NET API backend that needs to be converted to .NET Core.\n\nWhat we need\n\nWe’re looking for someone who can step in and help with existing development efforts, but also provide a bit of a jump start to our upcoming Angular development. You don’t need to be the human equivalent of Stack Overflow, but you do need to be able to react and adjust to changing schedules and environments. You need to have a solid background in Angular and be able to pitch in when needed as we transition our API from .NET Framework to .NET Core. \n\nThis position can be local, but you can work remotely as well. There's a whole range of tasks that need doing from UX and game design work to database optimisation, integration with third party APIs and deployment. We have a strong focus on automated testing so experience in designing tests is a real plus. \n\nWordwall.net makes it easy for teachers to create interactive games and printed worksheets for their students. It automates the process of resource design, so teachers can simply enter the content that is appropriate for their class – a list of keywords, definitions, questions or images. Wordwall produces the content in over 60 different templates; for example, gameshow quizzes, crosswords, labelled diagrams and arcade games. It seeks to disrupt the publisher-driven model of paid-for “professionally” made educational content, by putting high-quality content creation in the hands of teachers and making that teacher-made content, freely accessible through our online community.\n\nWe are a small team with big ambitions, who work remotely across the world. Our 15 million monthly users are rapidly proliferating. We’ve got a product that works and we’re building for the long-term. We want people who want to stick around, grow with us and help make games-based learning accessible to all.\n\nTechnologies we use: HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Canvas API, WebAudio API, C#, ASP.NET MVC, MS-SQL, Azure, Selenium, TeamCity CD\n\nWe are an equal opportunities employer. We support flexible working arrangements - full or part time.\n\nApplication by CV. Tell us which aspect of the site interests you and where you think you could contribute the most.\n\nReal applicants only - please do not contact us if you represent an agency.yagJzhkdapAsCMnUw7CpJAMi

\n(Remote, Full-Time, Anywhere in the World)\n\nWe are looking for a skilled and passionate Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Tech Team to build and scale effective software solutions. We are in need of an enthusiastic self-starter with expertise in building highly functional solutions involving multiple systems using the Javascript (Node, Express, React stack).\n\nWhat We Do\n\nWe work with niche companies in the US, Canada, the UK to restructure and automate their operation so that their businesses can grow 5-10x. We do that by effectively analyzing their business, streamlining their processes, and designing an effective automation solution that we then implement on our robust IT stack.\n\nWe make extensive use of technologies that help us accomplish results with less work — making everyone inside of our global organization more effective. \n\nWe heavily leverage: \n\n\n* \n\nAmazon AWS's serverless technologies and microservices for our front-end, back-end, and mobile apps (Lambda, Amplify, Cognito, S3, etc.).\n\n\n* \n\nZoho's CRM and ERP Tools (Desk, Books, etc.).\n\n\n* \n\nVonage/Nexmo-based telephony and communications solutions (Vonage Business Phone, Nexmo Voice/SMS, OpenTalk, etc.).\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are always looking for new technologies and welcome team members adding things to our technology stack so we can deliver more results more effectively. \n\nWhat You Will Do\n\nAs an Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the solution as per requirements put together by our Creative and Business Analysis Teams. Depending on your level, you will be responsible for either the entire project (with other engineers working in your project team) or for a part of it. \n\nYour ultimate deliverable will be to effectively build a solution that will be implemented in the client's business and run successfully going forward.\n\nIn doing so, you will:\n\n\n* \n\nDesign and architect complex solutions involving web apps (front+back), custom CRM/ERP's, programmable telephony, and occasionally mobile apps.\n\n\n* \n\nDeliver and implement your solutions.\n\n\n* \n\nCreate effective monitoring of the solutions for effective usage and scalability.\n\n\n* \n\nDo anything else you deem necessary to accomplish your result.\n\n\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\nYou are:\n\n\n* \n\nResponsible and driven by results.\n\n\n* \n\nGenuinely interested in technology.\n\n\n* \n\nWilling to learn, grow, and admit mistakes.\n\n\n* \n\nAble to communicate with other people on the project's team effectively.\n\n\n\n\n\nYou have:\n\n\n* \n\nA solid knowledge of Node.js, React, Express, and TypeScript.\n\n\n* \n\nExperience with complex SQL and NoSQL databases.\n\n\n* \n\nExperience with APIs to connect complex applications.\n\n\n* \n\nEffective written and verbal English to communicate with our international team.\n\n\n* \n\nBasic understanding of DevOps and SDLC to cooperate with other developers in building the product.\n\n\n\n\n\nWill be a good plus:\n\n\n* \n\nExperience with Amazon AWS, serverless technologies, and microservices on its platform.\n\n\n* \n\nExperience with CRM and ERP systems such as Zoho and others.\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n\n* \n\nResults-Focused Approach to Work\n\n\n\n\n\nWe do not look at people's activities, the number of lines of code written, etc., as the measure of success. We look strictly at the results in effectively delivered products. \n\n\n* \n\nResults Based Compensation Schedule\n\n\n\n\n\nThere is base pay and project bonus pay. Base pay varies significantly by the Engineer's level of ability and responsibility (Lead/Associate/Assistant) that the Engineer takes on projects - this level is reassessed after every project that the Engineer completes. Projects upon completion are rewarded with a bonus - bonus depends on the delivery of all requirements assigned to the Engineer, timeliness of delivery, rate of errors, and the amount of management attention needed in the project. Engineers who can deliver functional solutions that match requirements quickly and with little management action to correct errors get the best rewards and promotions in the organization.\n\n\n* \n\nFreely Arranged Schedule\n\n\n\n\n\nYou decide when you want to work. What we expect from you are results. There is a daily stand-up call — but outside of it, you can manage your schedule as you prefer.\n\n\n* \n\nWork as an Engineer, Not Just a Coder\n\n\n\n\n\nOur Engineers work to build solutions and not just to write code. You will have freedom in how you want to architect the solutions you are making and we will heavily encourage initiative on your part.\n\n\n* \n\nGrowth Within Our Organization\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are a dynamic and growing organization with a team spread around multiple continents. If you prove yourself as a responsible, driven and motivated individual, there will be opportunities for you to lead projects and manage tech teams.\n\nOur candidate selection process is designed to assess people strictly by their merit. We do not make you go through a long round of interviews, instead, we follow a straight-forward sequence:\n\n1. Job Application Form.\n\n2. Online Skills Assessment.\n\n3. Interview.\n\n4. Paid Practical Assignment.\n\n5. Evaluation and Offer.yagJzhkdapAsCMnUw7CpJAMi
