No experience necessary, and after onsite training for 4 weeks in Bangkok, the work can be done completely remotely, apart from the occasional paid trip to conferences in Europe and America.\nThis job might well fit someone who generally has a low opinion of recruiters based on their previous experience with them.\nWhen we say we're not typical recruiters, we really really mean it. We're computer programmers who got into recruitment because we hated dealing with all existing recruiters we met.\nYou must:\n· Have a level of diligence that your friends make fun of. If you've left a task undone, you won't be able to sleep. You will take genuine pleasure from making sure a jobseeker's details are properly labelled in a database, and will feel weird and dirty if you've made a sloppy job of it. You'll find our current processes to be irritatingly imprecise and will want to make them more efficient. The idea of measuring the resulting efficiency gain captures your attention more than you'd admit to anyone in front of whom you were trying to look cool.\n· Be comfortable dealing with computer programmers, and ideally be impressed — rather than visibly bored — when they tell you about the history of the Slovenian narrow-gauge railway system. Ideally you'll be a huge nerd yourself, perhaps with a STEM background. You probably know (at least) some HTML, just because.\n· Come preloaded with motivation and a desire to do the job well. There are going to be lots of times when you need to use your initiative, and you'll often be faced with situations which are entirely new, and need to show resourcefulness. Chexology, creator of ABC’s Shark Tank featured company, CoatChex, is seeking a part time freelance copywriter in NYC to write copy that will be used across all of our marketing efforts. This includes creating content for the company’s website and social media pages, and creating template responses for external partners. You’ll compose fun, informative, and engaging messages that compel people to experience the ticketless technology offered exclusively by Chexology. \n \nResponsibilities:\n● Working with multiple teams across the company, including the marketing, sales and design teams to generate and execute concepts for interactive media that meets the needs of customers and the company’s business objectives\n● Supporting the design team in areas of interaction design that requires marketing or instructional communication\n● Creating content for company’s social media pages and other documents; such as traditional ad campaigns, presentations, press releases, letters of response, banner advertising, etc.\n● Interacting with project teams to ensure that copy tone and style are consistent with the company’s vision \n● Demonstrating a high quality of standards across all deliverables\n\nQualifications:\n● BS in Communication, English, Journalism, Advertising or a related field\n● Minimum of 2 years’ experience in related work (at a magazine, agency or in-house copy team) \n● Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading skills and strong attention to detail\n● Deep working knowledge in the area of digital, mobile and social media landscape\n● Experience in creating content in social media and a solid familiarity with trends in online marketing, advertising and the interactive digital space\n● Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle different writing demands\n● Ability to explain complex concepts in a brief, intuitive way that adheres to the voice of the company\n● Experience working with a design team, as well as working off of a creative brief \n· \n \n\n#Salary\n0 - 0\n \n\n#Equity\n0.0 - 0.0\n \n\n#Location\n- New York City
