The Gateway team is a small, but critical, team responsible for one of Tessianโs key customer integrations - a Mail Transfer Agent. The MTA server is highly optimised for email traffic and integrates with M365, G-Suite and Exchange Server. You will be joining the team at an exciting time, working to deliver a new multi-tenant architecture, with significant business and customer impact.\n\n\nThe Gateway teamโs tech stack includes:\nTypescript, NodeJS & Python\nSMTP protocol\nDocker and AWS Lambda/ECS\nHigh volume NoSQL databases\nTerraform built environments\n\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and build reliable distributed systems that handle volumes of data with low latency\nMaintain and support business-critical systems where scale, latency and costs are front-of-mind\nShip code to production every day using CI/CD\nTackle the challenges that come with processing highly sensitive data\nLearn to build with security in mind\nMake your mark on ambitious projects\n\n\nQualifications:\n4+ years of Software Engineering experience\nPreferable experience with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB etc.) or GCP/Azure equivalents.\nProblem solver who takes pride in their work.\nEnjoy collaboration and working with others\nValues getting things done over getting things perfect\nComfortable with the unknown and loves to experiment\nConstruct good arguments for methodologies or practices\nWorked with, or understands the principles behind working with data at scale\nPassionate backend software developer, with NodeJS and Typescript experience or excited to learn Typescript\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you're not sure that you exactly fit all of the above criteria, please do get in touch anyway.
