Our main office is located at Epicenter, in the heart of Stockholm. \n\nYour challenge & personality\nAs an Integration Specialist, you are a key person in the build-up of our integration team with the responsibility for coordinating and taking lead in strategic M&A integration initiatives. You play an important part in end-to-end integrations within our industry, and you are a part of the evolution of our integrational frameworks and methods. Being an advisor and link between multiple organizations and business units, you use your developer mindset and a holistic view to co-operate with product managers, developers, operations and other stakeholders, translating their requirements into business value and technical requirements.\n\nYour skills and qualifications\nYou have a BSc or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent knowledge gained from a working career. As our team at Sandvik CODE is truly international, you have great communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing. You also understand that travel and interacting with new people and cultures are integral components of successful integration. Other valuable skills and experiences are: \n\n\n* Experience from post-merger integration in a role as a technical or functional specialist\n\n* Ability to translate business requirements and high-level architectures into solution designs targeting cloud based micro services that interface trough open api’s and modern web-based interfaces\n\n* A background as a software engineer with working experience from agile software development projects\n\n* Experience from API and iPaaS platforms like Dell Boomi, Apigee, MuleSoft etc.\n\n* Ability to balance a long-term holistic view with short-term implications resulted by urgent decisions made within integration projects\n\n* Experience from working in large cross-border, multi-organizational projects\n\n\n\n\nAt Sandvik, we are proud to promote a workplace free from discrimination. Nothing else matters.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Work with our executives, product managers, engineers and designers to identify and map out the most purposeful use cases for data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence inside Sandvik Machining Solutions\n\n* Work with Sandvik’s engineering teams to design and develop conceptual models and derive best practices for integrating data science into existing and new products and services\n\n* Prototype, validate and iterate data science-driven use cases across all of Sandvik’s strategic focus areas, including additive manufacturing (3D printing), metal cutting, logistics and planning, and cross-team collaboration\n\n\n\n\nSkills & Qualifications\n\nRequired\n\n\n* MSc. or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent field\n\n* Strong, fundamental understanding of probability theory, signal processing and time series analysis, multinomial regression models and multi-class classification models\n\n* At least 4 years of experience designing, building and deploying data science solutions in a professional environment\n\n* Extensive experience producing production grade solutions using programming languages and frameworks for scientific computing, such as Python, R, Scala, Matlab or equivalent\n\n* Extensive experience in packaging, organizing and documenting data science-based solutions to enable integrations with external software systems\n\n* Extensive Experience working with machine learning frameworks such as Theano, Torch, Caffe, TensorFlow or equivalent\n\n* Experience working with visualization tools such as Matplotlib (Python), Zeppelin (Spark), or GGPlot2 (R) or equivalent\n\n* Extensive Experience working with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, such as Apache Cassandra or equivalent\n\n* Experience with large, distributed file systems and data stores, such as Hadoop HDFS or equivalent\n\n\n\n\nPreferred\n\n\n* Experience working with web-based visualization tools such as D3.js or dygraphs\n\n* Experience working with Apache Spark and its related technologies, including SparkSQL and DataFrames\n\n* Familiarity with real-time streaming brokers, such as Kafka\n\n* Familiarity with graph databases, such as Neo4j, and their applications\n\n\n\n\nWe are a company with an open-minded culture, actively working to create a workplace that is characterized by diversity and inclusion. As a senior back-end engineer, your responsibilities include:\n\n\n* Designing and implementing distributed, high-volume micro-services through modular, loosely coupled design principles.\n\n* Implementing data models and storage solutions for high accessibility and scalability.\n\n* Developing and maintaining clearly defined APIs that enable other developers to make use of modules and micro-services through a self-service model.\n\n* Developing and deploying highly scalable cloud computing technologies that enable the services to scale according to customer demand while meeting SLA requirements and cost constraints.\n\n* Optimizing back-end performance for maximum speed, scalability and reliability.\n\n* Mentoring, supporting and pairing programs with junior back-end engineers to help spread best practices of coding throughout the team.\n\n\n\n\nYour skills and qualifications\n\nWe expect you to have a BSc or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or other relevant field. Through the work you do together, you’ll set the course for the future of Sandvik and their customers. As senior cloud architect, responsibilities include:\n\n\n* Specifying and designing data models and a scalable infrastructure which enables our A.I. quotation service to be available around the clock to hundreds of thousands of small manufacturing companies around the world.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Evaluating and undertaking impact analyses on major design options and assess associated risks, which ensure that our cloud infrastructure design balances functional, quality, security and cost requirements.\n\n* Defining, maintaining and managing cloud architecture models and frameworks, including current and future state of the infrastructure and deployment mechanisms.\n\n* Working in close collaboration with Product Management in assessing business strategy and priorities, tuning the cloud infrastructure to meet business goals.\n\n\n\n\nYour skills and qualifications\n\nWe expect you to have a BSc or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or other relevant field.
