Our mission ‘making repeat orders easier for everyone' began four years ago as a bootstrapped startup and today we're at the forefront of recurring billing software with over 100 remote-first employees around the globe.\n\nWe're looking for a Software Engineer to join the API team and collaborate on a critical part of the platform. Our API team provides the foundation for which Recharge is powered by and is responsible for creating a single interface into all of Recharge's data.\n\nOur stack includes: Python, Flask, Jinja, ES6, Vue.js, Sass, Webpack, Redis, Docker, GCP, Terraform, Ansible, Memcached, Nginx, Snowflake, Looker, Matillion\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\n\n* Live by and champion our values: #ownership, #empathy, #simple-solutions.\n\n* Write code (python) focused on scalability, testability, supportability and maintainability.\n\n* Implement new technologies to solve ReCharge’s technical challenges as they arise.\n\n* Champion good habits (development techniques, security, tech debt balance, TDD, and agile habits) within your team; improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.\n\n* Debug production issues across multiple levels of the stack.\n\n* Find and address performance issues throughout the application.\n\n* Perform thorough code reviews and troubleshoot complex issues.\n\n* Work with engineering and product managers to understand roadmap priorities.\n\n\n\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n\n\n* Typically, 4+ years of relevant development experience in fast paced environments\n\n* Experienced in of one of the following languages: Python (preferred), Node.js, Ruby, Java, Go\n\n* Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs\n\n* Experience with Cloud Platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure\n\n* Experience with Docker, auto-scaling, serverless infrastructure\n\n* A knack for engineering simple solutions to solve complex problems\n\n* Self motivated with a passion for taking ownership of your work and delivering outcomes\n\n* Ability to work remotely and desire to make an impact at a boot-strapped start-up\n\n* Excellent communication skills, a team player with a ‘winning as a team’ attitude\n\n* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience\n\n\n

Our Infrastructure team is responsible for the design and support of the product platform, focusing Cloud-native solutions to enable our product and feature teams to keep up with the fast pace of our industry.
