You’ll develop analysis and reporting capabilities as well as monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. Your primary responsibility will be to work with stakeholders across business functions including product, growth, marketing, and operations to build analytics products that enable data-driven decision making. You will guide analytics projects from discovery to solution and help us raise the bar for how we should apply our data to business decisions. In this role, you will be expected to: \n\n\n* Complete analysis projects with business stakeholders to monitor the health of the business and help the business make data-driven strategic, product, and operational decisions\n\n* Develop and own business intelligence dashboards, visualizations, and reports to provide ongoing tracking and insights to the team\n\n* Build and improve advanced analytical models for product and business use cases\n\n* Collaborate with data engineer to improve data architecture and maintain a robust and accurate data warehouse\n\n* Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems\n\n* Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets\n\n* Discover ways to use analytics to support team members across the business to yield action through data-driven decision making\n\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n\n* 2-4 years experience managing data analysis projects. eCommerce or SaaS experience is a plus.\n\n* Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.\n\n* Excel at composing concise efficient SQL queries, writing reports and presenting findings with data visualization tools.\n\n* Experience using a cloud data warehouse environment (such as BigQuery)\n\n* Experience with Python and pandas is a plus.\n\n* Working knowledge of business statistics and probability.\n\n* Ability to build trust and communicate insights effectively with a variety of business stakeholders across analytical levels.\n\n* Desire to be a partner to business stakeholders with a shared goal of using analytics and insights to drive the business forward.\n\n* Communicator. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to give and receive feedback.\n\n* Driven. Proactive and self-driven problem-solving with sharp attention to detail.\n\n* Iterative. \nOverview\n\nOur rapidly scaling medical education technology company is seeking a Front End Engineer to join our Product Team. In this role, you will be working with the Director of Product and CTO to design and deliver the best user learning experience to our learners.\n\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAs a Front End Engineer, you will take care of our learner-facing product and user interface. Reporting to our Director of Engineering, you will be expected to: \n\n\n* Build, test, ship, and maintain code for Osmosis’ learner-facing platform and user interface \n\n* Collaborate and problem solve with the Product Team to develop the most user-friendly medical education platform \n\n* Improve site usability, integrate user feedback, and implement best practices\n\n* Assist the Design Team to turn mockups into functioning web pages \n\n* Maintain brand identity across all medias and keep design thinking front of mind\n\n* Work closely with Content and Marketing teams to build out and iterate on user funnels\n\n* Contribute to a high-impact medical education platform that reaches hundreds of thousands of learners each year\n\n\n\n\nQualifications:\n\n\n* 3-4 years experience with popular JavaScript tools, frameworks and design principles\n\n* The ability to wed design sensibilities and functionality in support of maintaining the Osmosis brand across organization websites and platforms experience\n\n* Strong understanding of web standards (accessibility, mobile optimization) and current web-dev tech landscape (Javascript (+ jQuery), CSS)\n\n* Experience with front end frameworks: Knockout.js, Jade/Pug templates, Less\n\n* Excellent communication skills and a willingness to give and receive feedback - especially in a remote setting\n\n* Proven track record of running funnel optimization tests to improve retention especially in education technology\n\n* Passion for Osmosis’s mission, vision, and values\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Attributes:\n\n\n* Negentropic.
