Museum Hack in New York City is searching for a graphic designer to be hired for freelance work. We're a non-traditional renegade museum tour company; more about us at the bottom.
We need help with:
- Proposals & Spec Sheets
- Our sales team sends proposals to corporations, museums and other organizations. We are looking for a refresh of our Google Docs design and layout to help better frame our premium offerings.
- Microsites
- We regularly create new microsites focused on different aspects of our business, e.g., themed tours, scavenger hunts, etc. Here's an example of one: Big Gay Met. You will work with our marketing manager to upgrade the base designs for each customized audience. These microsites are often hosted on Wordpress, but we're open to other options (like Strikingly - kudos if you've used it or similar).
- Email Templates
- We send newsletters and other emails out to our various lists on Mailchimp. You will upgrade & refresh the standard templates to improve readability and clicks.
- And more!
- Brochures, banner ads, magazine ads, white papers, etc.

ABOUT MUSEUM HACK
We pride ourselves in crafting amazing museum experiences for museum skeptics. Our best tour guides are not the center of attention -- they make the Museum the star attraction. We lead with passion and charisma. The joke is, "We do museum tours for people who don't like museums."
Museum Hack uses the expansive collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art as our playground to create un-highlights tours that focus on hidden works, oddities, and saucy stories. Museum Hack guides combine these stories with antics and quirky activities that get you to think about the museum experience in new ways.
We are based in New York City, but we're very open and supportive of remote workers.
----
WHY WORK WITH MUSEUM HACK
We're doing exciting things. See our 2015 Year in Review here. You’re going to get more responsibility and control working with us than you would at a bigger company. Our tours are really \<redacted> fun.

We track all applicants through this system and your best way to apply is on this form. As a backup, you can also Tweet to our founder on his personal account which is @nickgraynews
