\nWe’re looking for a software engineer to help us build a real-time behavior monitoring platform, connecting native C++ libraries running in our users’ applications with a web-based data collection platform. The successful candidate will have ownership over this platform, starting with the initial beta and continuing through product maturity. \n\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n\n* 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience\n\n* 3+ years experience with C++\n\n* Familiarity with C  \n\n* Proficient in Socket/Network Programming\n\n* Strong ability to diagnose server and network issues\n\n* Understanding of network protocols and network data security\n\n* Understanding of high-frequency messaging framework concepts\n\n* Experience with designing, building, and consuming APIs\n\n* Experience with *nix\n\n* Experience with Git or other SCM\n\n* Ability to translate a higher-level vision into a product\n\n* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic, high-pressure environment\n\n* Ability to effectively convey a product vision and ideas to improve our conventions, processes, software, products and customer experience\n\n\n\n\nExtra Points\n\n\n* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field\n\n* Experience building real-time, high-frequency data capture systems\n\n* Experience with public cloud technologies (e.g. Amazon AWS)\n\n* Proficient in either Python or Java\n\n* Proven experience in the successful delivery of large, complex, high volume logging pipelines using modern scalable architectures and technologies such as Kafka, Ajna, Spark, Splunk/ELK.\n\n* Both research and implementation of machine learning solutions.\n\n* Skills in the theoretical and technical application of statistics, forecasting and data mining to help develop models to solve complex real-world problems using some of the following quantitative methods: CART, MARS, VAR, multivariate regression, factor analysis, econometric time series analysis, simultaneous equation models, decision trees, hypothesis testing, neural nets, outlier identification, ARIMA, Monte Carlo simulations, etc. \n\n\n

\nWhat You’ll Do \n\nMedCrypt is seeking a lead C++/C software engineer with an interest in building data security and networking libraries and applications (4 - 6 years experience).  We are currently using ISO standard C++11 and C99. Our solution is cross-platform, targeting Unix, Windows, and Mobile platforms. We're looking for someone who is genuinely curious about security technology and is familiar with cryptography and root-of-trust concepts.  \n\nFamiliarity with hardware security elements, cross-compilation for microcontrollers, build systems (autotools/cmake) is a plus.\n\nWhy You Should Join\n\nWe strive to provide a sensible working environment that doesn’t ask or encourage habitual overtime and we offer flexibility in schedule.
