Locus Health blends a combination of innovative technology solutions & clinical services to improve the quality of care and outcomes for patients. Our unique approach has reduced patient readmission rates at UVA Health System by over 40%. Software Development plays a crucial role as we expand our solutions to care for many more patients, across multiple hospitals and health systems. In the next year, we are planning a minimum of a 10x increase in the patient population that we serve.

As a Software Developer at Locus Health, you will:

• Work within a collaborative software engineering team to develop new features, workflows, and products.
  
  The current technology focus for the team is Ruby on Rails. As the team grows, there will be increased interest in:
  
  
• Expanded test coverage with behavior-driven automated testing.
  
• Building web services in Clojure.
  
• Mobile development on iOS.
  
• Greater team participation in DevOps, including automated configuration management on Amazon Web Services.
  
  This position is eligible for remote work, based on skills and experience of candidate.

  REQUIREMENTS
  
  
• Production application experience with Ruby on Rails, including HTML/CSS/JS.
  
• Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and preprocessors such as SASS.
  
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.
  
• Experience with testing in RSpec.
  
• Experience with git and GitHub.
