Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an outstanding PHP / Symfony2 Developer to be part of our growing team. The position is full time with location either in our offices in Berlin or working remotely from home. Do you have experience in the following?

• Symfony2, ideally 2.6.x, and PHP, ideally PHP 5.5


• Relational databases (MySQL) and ORM mechanisms, ideally Doctrine2


• Common Web technologies, i.e. HTML5, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, AngularJS


• Working level knowledge of English

Job Description

We are looking for a remotely based Symfony2 developer to join our team. You should be motivated, experienced and enthusiastic about online learning.

What do we offer?

• Full-time remote position (typically 40 hours per week)
  
• 3.000 EUR per month freelance (with invoice) or 3.000 EUR as gross salary with German work contract
  
  Qualifications
  
  
• You love developing software
  
• You have at least 3 years of solid experience creating Symfony2 applications (PHP, Doctrine2, Relation databases (MySQL)
  
• You know your way around common web technologies like HTML5, CSS, Ajax, Javascript (AngularJS)
  
• You know how to use rebase, merge and fork in Git
  
• You are passionate about code quality. Writing tests and documentation belong to your natural workflow
  
• Experience with Google Adwords, Mandrill and/or Adobe Connect APIs are welcome
  
• You have experience working with SCRUM, Kanban or similar methodologies
  
• A history of active contributions to open source projects is a plus.
