Our backend tech stack currently includes RHEL/CentOS, Docker, Node.js, PHP, Apache/Nginx, Solr/ElasticSearch, MariaDB/MySQL, GlusterFS, Redis/Memcache, HAProxy, Varnish, New Relic, and AWS (GovCloud, EC2, ELB, RDS, Aurora, ElastiCache, S3, CloudFormation, Redshift, EFS, etc.), DigitalOcean, and Rackspace.\n\nWho you are \n\nWe're looking for a senior DevOps engineer with significant experience configuring, managing, automating, securing, monitoring and maintaining systems at scale.\n\n- You love to solve problems and can do so under pressure. \n\n- Scaling, reliability, automation, security, and performance are things you care about deeply. \n\n- You have a good mixture of planning, risk taking and a “get-it-done” attitude. \n\n- You value the open source community and want to give back to it. \n\n- You can clearly explain your ideas to both clients and other team members both verbally and in writing. \n\n- You like to have fun and work with a small team! High level areas of responsibility include:\n\n\n* Software development (staff and function)\n\n* Development operations (DevOps staff and function)\n\n* Technical operations (policy, procedures, processes and tools)\n\n* Hosting operations (operation and maintenance of I.F. hosting infrastructure, related services and staff) \n\n\n\n\nWhile not primarily responsible for overall coordination or delivery, the Technical Services Manager is responsible for support of and critical contributions to:\n\n\n* The definition and documentation of I.F. standard products, services and general processes.\n\n* Client management strategy in general and resolution of technical conflicts or issues associated with particular clients.\n\n\n\n\nSpecific Duties\n\n\n* Provide team leadership, vision, direction, mentoring and management to geographically dispersed technical staff who design, develop and support I.F. products and services.
