About us: We're a funded team working on a really platform for the startup industry. In short we're using big-data to help predict how much a movie will make before it's even been made (check out our site for more info). We've also secured partnerships with some very large market research companies meaning that we have a completely unique and vast data set to play with.\nWhat we're looking for: A data scientist or an experienced coder (who could pick up data science skills) with a hackers mentality to join us full time who is interested in the film business. We're not interested in how old you are, what your qualifications are, or where you're from; we're only interested in you being able to do a damn good job and being passionate about film!\nYou will need to be knowledgable in the following:\n- Python (in particular it's big data tool sets) \n- Experience with multiple different types of database.\n\nNice to have skills but not essential:\n- JavaScript/HTML5 \n- Experience writing scraper tools \n- Experience doing twitter sentiment analysis \n- Flask \n- ReactJS \n- PostgreSQL \n\n#Salary and compensation\n$25,000 — $35,000/year\n \n\n#Equity\n0.1 - 0.25\n\n\n#Location\nLondon
