\nWe are looking for exceptional developers that are more capable than most.  Our codebase is very well maintained and organized and our system is high performance.  We only want team members that can learn, understand and continue that tradition.  This is not a run of the mill cube job for an army of cube drones.  We are looking for highly skilled outlier individuals that are enthusiastic about dev.  Enthusiastic is not a euphemism for long hours or anything.  We work a normal schedule and love the work that we do.  We don't a number of years of experience in the requirements because number of years is a poor indicator of ability, but this is a position for experienced people wioth deep technical understanding that want to work with others like you.\n\nSince design is a major part of this position, please submit a link to a portfolio of design work.\n\nThis position is responsible for building the browser side UI of the main products of Filevine.  The products that we build are the core of the business.  We are constantly striving to make the products more intuitive, easier to learn and use, higher performance and solve the actual problems that the users need.\n\n\n* Strong developer, with demonstrated proficiency measured by technical interview and trial period.\n\n* Strong design sense\n\n* Deep understanding of technical stack and concerns, familiarity with cloud infrastructure and database systems.\n\n* Ability to work remotely and independently and to collaborate with non-technical people\n\n* WIllingness to learn and understand our users’ challenges and how your work will affect our end users.\n\n* Ability to take direction from management and to educate stakeholders as needed.\n\n* Work with a team that builds new innovations and major new features within our existing product.\n\n* Coordinate with team management and quality assurance personnel on releases of new features.\n\n* 100% remote work within United States.\n\n\n\n\nOur technical stack is C#, .NET, SQL Server, redis, ElasticSearch, AWS, javascript, AngularJS, HTML,CSS.  Everyone will touch all of these a bit but frontend devs that will finalize browser side UI stuff and be heavy on the client side tech.

Individuals who join our team will be a part of an exciting environment with plenty of opportunities for growth within the company.\n\nThe Migrations Development department at Filevine is the central point for data integration for all new clients to our software. We are a young team with a growing list of responsibilities and client backlog. \nThe problem that I want you to solve...\n\nWe are a fast growing software company building highly customizable SaaS products.  When we close new customers, those customer have legacy systems full of data of varying quality that they want moved to our system.  Since our system is highly customizable, some of that is repeatable and some are one off migrations.\n\nI need a person that could manage a staff of technical people, but also can make the customer experience good one.  Setting customer expectations, creating repeatable processes, dealing with internal and external people.  That will require a firm hand and the ability to say "no.".  We currently have a backlog of customers not yet onboarded and sales are ramping up.  This is currently a weak point in our operation and we need a person that can make this into a strength.  \n\nChallenges include varying data quality in legacy system, varying cooperation from new customer, commitments are important because new customers often have to cease operations on legacy systems and start on Filevine, creating a relatively small window, managing late process requests for changes - all of the usual migration issues.  Key is finding the balance in all of this.  No customer wants or will pay for perfect data but we want them happy at the end.  That can be a moving target.\n\nSkills & Requirements\n\nAbility to manage a technical operation and staff - this often means a technical background\n\nAbility to navigate the balance between pleasing customers and not letting them take advantage\n\nAbility to setup processes that are reliable\n\nAbility to set and meet commitments\n\nAbility to properly set expectations
