Position duties may include:{linebreak}{linebreak}{linebreak}* Contributing to open source software; mobile app development, building front-end(s) for web frameworks (e.g., Meteor){linebreak}{linebreak}{linebreak}{linebreak}{linebreak}{linebreak}* Data and text mining{linebreak}{linebreak}* Databases{linebreak}{linebreak}* Designing scientific visualizations{linebreak}{linebreak}* Geo-tagging and geo-visualization{linebreak}{linebreak}* Network modeling{linebreak}{linebreak}* Contributing to technical project management{linebreak}{linebreak}* Some collaborative proposal development.{linebreak}{linebreak}* Developing natural language processing and machine learning systems{linebreak}{linebreak}{linebreak}{linebreak}{linebreak}We mostly code in CoffeeScript, JavaScript, and Python and use Meteor for web apps and AWS for hosting. As our first and only DevOps engineer, you will drive the direction of our infrastructure. Our work ranges from data mining and machine learning algorithms to web development, design, and visualization.
