We're already handling hundreds of millions of requests, and are expect significant growth in the coming months as we roll out our product set and continue to evolve and build out platforms for our key clients.

Everyone in our engineering team helps solve interesting problems with scaling, machine learning, data visualisation, our API architecture and core development framework. To date this has included our core infrastructure in AWS, the Google Cloud and other platforms. We're not at a size where we need to split out responsibilties in this area.

This is a ground floor opportunity for the right engineer to take the reins of a young, exciting and growing infrastructure, to plan for and support our rapid growth, and to build an opperations team that meets the needs of the wider business.

• Work asynchronously. Individual team members more or less works at their own pace, with collaboration and agreement being handled by asynchronous mechanisms
  
• No 9 to 5. Get the job done on time (and don't upset the client) and you can work the hours you want
  
• Work at your own pace. We handle things like collaboration and sign off through the best tools for the job, all in support of asynchronous working
  
• Minimal meetings. Unless we really need to powwow in person, we keep in touch using cloud-based tools like Slack (much more efficient, believe us)
  
• Work where you want. Yes, be diligent, stick to deadlines and do great work. But where and how you do it is up to you

  What we're looking for:
  
  We are looking for a driven and focused individual with a proven record of delivering large-scale infrastructure and supporting multiple products for a global audience.
  
  In terms of skill set, you will have:
  
  
• Significant experience with AWS, including EC2, Route 53, S3, Cloudfront and ElastiCache
  
• Deep understand and proven experience working with Ubuntu
  
• Experience with Redis, Node JS and MongoDB
  
• Experience wotrking with APIs and with JSON
  
• A proven understanding of the fundamentals of digital technology
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Experience managing and reporting against budgets
  
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and motivate teams
