However, here are some of the responsibilities we expect you to take on as a Principal Engineer\n \n* Work with our Data Integration and Data Ingestion teams to translate business requirements into high-quality, well architected software solutions.\n* Evaluate and evolve our workflows to ensure fast and efficient collaboration between members of the team.\n* Work on strategy, goals and the structure of the team together with the Director of Engineering to ensure we're best placed to meet our targets.\n* Lead a high performing team of Engineers, ensuring that they are being developed, mentored and challenged, acting as an advocate for them within the organisation and ensuring roles and responsibilities are well defined.\n* Facilitate decisions in building and evolving our data pipeline to improve reliability and resilience.\n* Be continuously learning to make sure we’re able to effectively deploy new technologies and processes in order to stay competitive.\n\n# Responsibilities\n **Sounds interesting? You have previous experience with ELT/ETL.\n* A strong background in data engineering and/or software engineering.\n* 3+ years of leadership experience - you know how to build and manage teams of engineers. Your role is incredibly important to ChartMogul. ChartMogul is heavily investing in R&D and as such the engineering department (that you would lead) makes up nearly half the company’s headcount. Aside from leading your organisation, you also play a critical part in our ability to grow and scale by being the critical link between the business strategy and the engineering team.\nYou work closely with the Product team and the Engineering team to ensure technical considerations are factored into the product roadmap and business strategy.\nA big part of your job involves enabling engineers to deliver. This means you spend of lot of time mitigating against factors that could hinder productivity or otherwise disrupt your team. However, you also dedicate a fair amount of time to thinking through the technical future of ChartMogul’s platform. Leveraging feedback from your engineering team, you identify opportunities to improve the software and enable it to meet current and future needs.\n\nFinally, you act as a leader in the organization and champion ChartMogul values. You’re responsible for a team of 15 really talented engineers, to whom you provide coaching and mentorship. Your main objective is to enable all engineers so the unit can meet its objectives. Therefore, you work to create an environment where everyone is encouraged to share ideas and take initiative, and made to feel safe voicing opinions. You also identify skills gaps in your team and work to either upskill existing team members, by providing professional development opportunities, or recruit to complement your team’s skills.\n\n# Responsibilities\n * Analyzing the product roadmap and making recommendations based on feasibility and viability\n* Mastering our tech stack and making recommendations based on how development of new features might restrict future development\n* Facilitating collaboration and communication with other ChartMogul teams\n* Leading the prioritization exercise alongside Product Management, Customer Success, and Sales teams\n* Providing technical input during fund-raising and for investor reporting\n* Managing technological aspects of GDPR compliance\n* Transforming existing architecture and infrastructure to position the software for growth\n* Dedicating time to researching and fully understanding the changing tech landscape to promote innovative practices at ChartMogul\n* Collaborating with team members at all levels to increase engagement, promote an understanding of engineering challenges, and consequently get more done\n* Line managing a group of engineering leads\n* Providing mentorship, support, and career development opportunities\n* Building and nurturing a diverse and inclusive team of high-performing engineers \n\n# Requirements\n* You’ll become part of a team of kind, highly skilled and dedicated people that all share the same mission: Helping companies build better businesses.\n* You’ll receive a great compensation package (market or upmarket).\n* You’ll also be getting stock options\n* Flexible working hours and arrangements \n\n#Salary\n90k-115k\n \n\n#Location\n- 🇪🇺EU-only

As Product Manager for Data Platform you will play a central role in ChartMogul’s overall success. The Data Platform team is responsible for improving and maintaining the backend data ingestion pipeline, public APIs and most of the data output features of ChartMogul.\n\n# Responsibilities\n In this role, you will lead execution of the Data Platform product roadmap by prioritizing projects in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, you will work side by side with the engineers in your squad to design, build, test, and rollout new features and updates. Last, but not least, you will actively seek out feedback from customers to truly understand their problems and find simple and innovative solutions to those problems.\n\nYou will become a domain expert in different subscription business models, the analytics and features that are meaningful to each, the solutions currently in the market, and the problems people face trying to gain insight into their businesses. \n\n# Requirements\n* Due to the highly technical nature of this product role we are looking for someone with some background in software engineering who has made the jump into Product, so a BA in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required\n* You are able to isolate user pain points and devise simple solutions to complex problems\n* You have passion and intuition for product quality and strong critical thinking and analytical skills to match\n* You have a knack for articulating and distilling complex topics into simple, plain, English\n* Your attention to detail borders on the obsessive\n* You have several years of experience in product management, ideally for a SaaS product in the B2B market\n* Your technical aptitude and interpersonal skills enable you to work productively with Engineering teams\n* You can understand our entire stack - from front-end to the API to data model\n* You are an excellent communicator (verbal and written) and can adapt to a range of different audiences\n* You have people management or coaching/mentoring experience and enjoy seeing people develop\n* You are self-aware and humble - you recognize that the team's success is your success\n\n**Nice to have**\n* Experience in the Analytics/BI market\n* Past experience as an engineer working in Ruby on Rails, Postgres and JavaScript.\n* You have experience working with a variety of data technologies in your past roles (MySQL, Redshift, S3, Snowflake, Hbase, Kafka, Spark) as a user and/or operationally\n\n**Compensation**\n* In addition to your salary you will receive stock options and an education budget regardless of location, other benefits depend on location \n\n#Salary\n$75,000\n \n\n#Location\n- 🌏Worldwide
