\nAllovue is looking for engineers that display a love of their craft and are continuing to strive to learn more about programming and building software in general. We don’t stop at helping to facilitate K–12 education; we strongly believe to stop learning is to grow stagnant.\n\nWe are looking for candidates that are varied in experiences and are generally well-versed in one or more specific areas of practice. Those areas may include:\n\n\n* front-end development\n\n* back-end development\n\n* data mining\n\n* operations\n\n\n\n\nWe have services written in R and Ruby: including a Rails API. We use Postgres and Elasticsearch as our persistence layers and Ember.js as the framework we currently use for our client-side application. Some languages we have been evaluating for upcoming services include Clojure, Elixir, and Node.js.
