CrazyGames.com, a fast-growing browser games platform, is looking for aย Product Engineer (REMOTE). As our Product Engineer you will play a crucial role in bringing our product to the next level and build the global market-leading casual browser games platform. You will work as a product engineer (a full-stack software engineer with a lot of participation in product management) for products used by close to 25 million monthly users.
CrazyGames.com is an HTML5 browser games platform reaching close to 25 million people per month. In just a few years, weโve grown from a hobby project to a team of 18 (all while staying self-funded and profitable). We're serving users all over the world, in countries ranging from Indonesia, over the US, to Germany and France.
Key outcomes for the role:
Within 1 month, youย fully understandย our currentย progress saveย functionalityย and have made first improvements to it.
Within 3 months you have specified and executed (small)ย newย product featuresย that result in a measurable uplift in user engagement.
Within 6 months you take responsibility for ourย progress saveย functionalityย andย other account features, working with both game developers and your colleagues inside CrazyGames.
Within 12 months you will fully understand the high-level architecture of the codebase so that you can work together with our Tech Lead toย specifyย andย coordinateย large new user featuresย that encompass multiple code projects.

Responsibilities:
Lead a team of developers and provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
Experience leading a team of developers and managing software development projects from inception to delivery.
Expert proficiency with frontend development HTML, SCSS, EJS JavaScript, SCSS, React.js
Proficiency with React.js SSR technologies, frameworks and tooling, such as Next.js.
Expert proficiency in back-end languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
Expert proficiency with modern ORM technologies like Prisma, and query languages for APIs (GraphQL)
Expert proficiency working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Expert proficiency with Docker
Experience with GraphQL Nexus is a plus!
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, CI/CD, and cloud computing.
Strong routine in test-drive development with attention to unit tests, integration tests and API tests.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
