I've worked in the IT industry for more than 12 years now. For a few years I have performed various jobs and functions in the IT industry. First I worked as a web and backend developer. As part of this I developed and maintained websites based on php, java and mySQL. Furthermore I was responsible for various projects, such as Fontys SmartCar, SoFa - Mister Maks, the development of an ERP system, the development of 3play core entertainment software and a multi-device video portal. As a software analyst and engineer, I checked, tested and integrated external software into production environment. I also was responsible for the automation of processes and configurations. Therefore I have already worked on DevOps activities here, so that I have gathered experience in this workspace for several years.

After this software engineer job I worked as a DevOps Engineer for a well-known telecommunications company. As part of this job, I analyzed, optimized and automated IT processes and systems. After one year I became the leader of development and operation team. I was responsible for the development of automation of the software processes as well as operation and 3rd level support.

Furthermore I worked as a DevOps Engineer for a healthcare software company. As part of this, I set up various infrastructures based on scripts, automated tools such as Terraform or manual administration via the Microsoft Azure portal. This also included cost monitoring and monitoring of the individual environments with Microsoft Azure or external tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or Nagios. Besides I managed the automation process of the entire environment using CI / CD.

Based on my experience as well as the knowledge and skills I have acquired the last years I became self-employed in the field of DevOps last year. As part of this I have already successfully implemented various large, medium and small projects. Thus, I have many years of experience in various DevOps projects. In this context I gained experience with Microsoft Azure and Legacy Administration in various projects.
