Doing online marketing since a Google Ads click costed mere cents. That was in 2005. Since then, my focus has always been on 2 things:
1. Driving as much relevant traffic for the least amount of money. Yeah, traffic should be relevant.
2. Creating the best converting point in space, some call it a website, webshop, or an app. It could also be a poster, because I don't care where conversion comes from as long as it does and fits the DNA of the client.
Some call it data-driven, but I'm just anal about the numbers and start shouting when they're not properly measured or don't add up.
I do know how to work with people though. You just gotta slap em around a bit to get the job done.
