Who We Are:\nSensor Tower is the leading solution for mobile marketers, app developers, and industry analysts who demand superior competitive insights into the mobile market economy.\n\nWe serve independent and Fortune 500 customers alike, spanning the mobile games, travel & hospitality, music, finance, and broadcast entertainment markets. Our suite of products consist of free, “SMB”, and Enterprise-tiered solutions including Store Intelligence, Usage Intelligence, Ad Intelligence, and App Intelligence.\n\nWe are a privately held company headquartered in San Francisco and was a member of AngelPad’s startup incubator program in 2013. Our insights are cited by the world’s leading news and finance publications, including the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes, Fortune, Bloomberg, CNBC, The Washington Post, and Reuters.\n\nFulfil Your Potential With Us\nSensor Tower has a successful startup environment, so engineers can take advantage of working on a variety of projects, owning major features that impact customers, building new things, and productionizing the experimental code that has proven value. \n \nWe need engineers who have the creativity and skills to gather meaningful data and insights. In our lean and flat organisation, you will also have a meaningful say in what and how we build out all aspects of our product. \n \nUnlike many startups, we have an eight-year track record of profitable, double-digit growth, so that financial stability allows engineers to focus on the interesting problems we’re solving rather than company viability. It also means we can invest in impactful ideas and quickly react to market changes. \n \n\n\nBlog Posts\nRead more about some of our Technical challenges here (written by members of our engineering team):\nhttps://sensortower.com/blog/speeding-up-the-backend-with-graph-theory\nhttps://sensortower.com/blog/how-we-scaled-to-thousands-of-sidekiq-workers\nhttps://sensortower.com/blog/why-sensor-tower-uses-ruby \n \nA Day In The Life\nMattia Giuffrida (London) – Staff Software Engineer\n \nWhat does your day to day look like working as a Staff Software Engineer?\nI am responsible for high-level architecture and major projects that impact multiple organisations in the company. I help other engineers to accelerate their workflow to deliver projects on time with the highest coding standards and ensure that proper attention is given to planning and testing. When a new big project comes around, I’m usually responsible for architecting the overall solution and changes necessary to our system, including data pipelines and API endpoints.\n \nAt Sensor Tower, what is the difference between office-based and remote employees?\nAs we transition out of COVID-19 regulations, Sensor Tower has opened or has planned an office presence in four cities: San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and London. I’m based in London, so I have the option of going to the office, but Sensor Tower will continue to be remote-friendly, so I also have the flexibility to work from the comfort of my home office. \n \nHow do you collaborate with your team as a remote employee?\nWorking remotely can be different from meeting your colleagues in the office, but doesn’t mean it cannot be as productive or fun! We use Slack as our main communication tool for quick conversations and some business and technical discussions. We use Zoom for meetings and a more personal connection with our colleagues. I often schedule pair-programming sessions when working with someone else on something tough. Because Sensor Tower is a remote-friendly company, with our communication technologies, we all can work closely together across many time zones and collaborate with talented engineers all over the world.\n\n\nWhy Join Sensor Tower?\n\nOur Background:\nWe were named one of the 50 Tech Companies to Know in 2020 and Best Midsize Companies to Work For 2021 by BuiltIn.\n\nAfter seven years of building Sensor Tower off of $1MM (Seed, 2013), we're excited to announce our $45MM growth investment. Read more about it here, in the words of our co-founders. \n\nWe have a birds-eye view of the entire mobile app ecosystem, and we keep our teams constantly abreast of the latest mobile app trends, news, and best practices. \n\nOur Values:\nSensor Tower's Core Values: Customer-Focused, Innovative, Continuously Learning, Action-Oriented, Respectful, Data & Metrics-Driven. \n\nWe grant options to all of our employees because we recognize that everybody plays an integral role in our success; thus all employees should be invested in Sensor Tower (both figuratively and literally). \n\nOur Benefits:\nWe offer unlimited PTO, Health and Wellness stipends, flexible work hours, 401K, team trips (white water rafting, Hawaii, and weekend Tahoe mansion trips to name a few), and more. \n\nOur Covid-19 Specific benefits include: Stipend to set up your home office and/or gym, WiFi stipend, daily UberEats delivery stipend, and virtual team events.\n\n\n\nSensor Tower is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. \n\nWe are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status. \n\nPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. \n\nIf you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please let us know.\n\n#Location\nWarsaw
