Remote Business Operations Analyst

\nThe role\nAs a Business Operations Analyst, you will own the data that informs the operational decision making at Voltus. In this role, you will partner with teams from across the business โ€” from our product and engineering teams to our field operations team to our customer success team โ€” to unpack ambiguous problems and build lasting, scalable solutions. Your work will vary from analytical problem solving to process and data improvements and building core dashboards and tables โ€” all in the pursuit of helping grow how Voltus operates and measures itself.\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat you'll be doing\n* Serve as a strategic advisor for Voltusโ€™ people leaders and General Managers, offering data driven insights and recommendations for strategic planning and goal setting \n* Develop analyses, dashboards, and reporting to enable better operational decisions\n* Monitor and report key metrics to proactively launch analyses and identify growth levers \n* Build data systems from zero to one: from data flow to reporting and the decision-making process, ensuring that data insights are accessible and actionable across the company\n* Whatever it takes to solve complex problems and build scalable processes\n\n\n\nWhat weโ€™re looking for\n* Start-up experience strongly preferred, as well as experience using analytics to drive key business decisions\n* Must be fluent in data storytelling and creating compelling data visualizations in Excel, Google Spreadsheets, and Tableau\n* Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases\n* Basic knowledge of finance topics such as financial accounting, modeling, and corporate finance\n* A passion for the mission and problem weโ€™re solving\n\n\n\nNice to have\n* Proficiency in Python and a familiarity with included statistical packages is a plus \n* Experience with the Salesforce ecosystem; building reports and collaborating with systems administrators to design and implement solutions\n\n\n\n\n$80,000 - $100,000 a year\n\nAt Voltus, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer because we recognize that a diverse organization begins with a diverse candidate pool.
