As Marketing Programs Coordinator, you will collaborate with members of our marketing team, and with cross-team and external partners to make sure projects get the resources and attention they need to be successful. In this new role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of a multitude of activities during major campaigns like the Hour of Code.\n\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nAs Marketing Programs Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating tactics for the smooth execution of programs and regularly planned campaigns:ย \n\nโข Help prepare for online events offered through CS Journeys and other marketing programs: set up and lead registration; coordinate schedules and prepare guest speakers, panelists, and other third parties; coordinate support from internal staff and keep everyone on schedule\nโข Coordinate surveys and responses to collect feedback and metrics for marketing programs\nโข Help lead the Hour of Code activity submission process, working with the Marketing Program Manager, third party activity providers, and our teacher review board to decide activities placed on the HourOfCode.com website.\nโข Build and maintain good relationships with third party curriculum providers.\nโข Help plan and run support activities for corporate supportersโ employee engagement.\nโข Provide support and coordination with different internal stakeholders for regularly planned marketing campaigns such as teacher recruitment for our professional learning programs.\nโข Help produce and update content as needed to support ongoing program updates.\nโข Provide other additional marketing support as needed.\n\n\nEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS\n\nWe are looking for an efficient, detail-oriented self-starter, experienced in communications. You should be able to multitask, excel under pressure, and work independently with a geographically dispersed team. As our ideal candidate, you are tech-savvy, and able to swiftly prioritize duties as needed on multiple ongoing projects. You should be flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.\n\nAs our ideal candidate, you have the following qualifications:\nโข 2+ years of experience relevant to the role\nโข Excellent organizational skills, ideally with experience in project coordination or management.\nโข Excellent written and verbal communication skills\nโข Ability to learn and respond quickly\nโข Demonstrated ability to work effectively across a wide range of internal teams, and produce on deadline in a fast-paced environment\nโข Confident and at ease speaking to partners, community members, and other third parties on behalf of Code.org\nโข Proficient in using Google suite of applications, especially sheets and forms.ย \nโข A Bachelorโs degree in a related field or equivalent work experience\nโข Familiarity or background in educational communications preferred (no background in Computer Science needed!)\n\nIn addition, candidates:\nโข Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident\nโข Must pass a pre-employment background check\n\n\nWhat does the interview process look like?\n\nStep 1: Informational Interview - learn more about the role and share your experience \nStep 2: Interviews with several members of the Code.org teamย \nStep 3: Final Interview + Meet & Greet with 2-3 members of the Code.org team\nStep 4: Reference Checksย \n\nAll interviews are currently being conducted virtually via Google Meet\n\n\nTO APPLY\n\nThe initial review of applications for this position will begin on August 26, 2021, and preference will be given to applications submitted by this date.
