**OUR STORY**\n\nWeโre on a mission to build solutions for the next generation of commerce. Commerce doesnโt have to be complicated, ultimately we enable developers and platforms to make commerce seamless by connecting them to millions of merchants and billions of products with a single API.\n\nCarted will power commerce experiences anywhere on the internet, allowing developers and content creators to build a direct checkout of any product from any merchant via any content on the web.\n\n**THE ROLE**\n\nAs Cartedโs first Product Manager hire you will play a critical role in owning the vision, strategy, roadmap and execution of our product and get us ready for launch in January.\n\nYou'll be responsible for:\n\n* Working closely with the Engineering Team Lead to prioritise, roadmap and scope work. Youโll make sure everyone is brought along the journey of product discovery and support the daily decisions required to build great products efficiently at scale.\n\n* Think strategically through customer needs, business opportunities and technical challenges when creating the roadmap.\n\n* Translating a high-level vision into an MVP, and series of incremental deliveries.\n\n* Collaborate with the team, anticipating and understanding requirements and guiding the team on translating these into well-defined user stories.\n\n* Lead discovery work to validate new ideas and ensure we are building the right things.\n\n**WHAT EXCITES US**\n\nAs we grow, youโll be able to demonstrate leadership by adding to and building out the Carted product team including implementing the product framework, documentation and cadence of the department through to being an ambassador for our products.\n\nStrong product management experience preferably with commerce / API products. You have experience owning a product roadmap and executing against it. Youโve been responsible for the entire product life cycle from gathering requirements to design, development and release. You've experienced the ups and downs of shipping brand new product features, learning from customer feedback and iterating on your strategy.\n\nYouโre an owner. We are excited about the things weโre building and weโre chomping at the bit to make them happen. We donโt want to wait for someone else to do them and we love people who see themselves as the executor that can make things happen.\n\nStrong eye for detail. As the person who translates our product vision into actionable stories for our engineering team, youโre a stickler for detail, and as a result your documentation is second to none. Nothing gets past you.\n\nClear communication. We need to both educate and build our vision of the future. Communication is your thing, alongside product, so youโre not only technically capable, but have very strong communication skills.\n\n**WHY COME AND JOIN OUR TEAM**\n\nWe are a well-funded, fast growing startup with people around the globe.
