If you are passionate about your work and want to make an impact, weโd love for you to join us and add to our culture!\n\nThis position reports to Dan Muzyka, Director of Engineering\n\n\n**Responsibilities**\n \nImplement projects with minimal technical oversight.\n\nPerform business and functional requirements analysis and capture with clients and analysts.\n\nAnalyze existing implementations to extract business and functional requirements.\n\nPerform analysis for new technology to determine appropriate usage.\n\nLead development teams through the development process to successfully deliver valuable features and projects.\n\nProvide technical oversight to small teams of developers.\n\nEnsure code and systems are developed with appropriate levels of quality.\n\nConfigure software and infrastructure to support deployment of implemented projects.\n\nDesign and implement subsystems of the software architecture.\n\nImplement automation to support builds, deployments and code quality checks.\n\nEstimate development time for subsystems and projects.\n\nCreate design and operational documentation for subsystems and projects.\n\nPerform release management activities.\n\nRecommend improvements to Phase2โs development and deployment practices.\n\nParticipate in the development of best practices and standards within the company.\n\nServe as proactive and efficient conduit for knowledge sharing across the company.\n\nMaintain managerial relationships with more junior members of the engineering team.\n\nAssist with the career development of staff within the engineering team.\n\n** \nMinimum Qualifications**\n \nMinimum 3 years of full-time professional experience as a software developer.\n \nMust live in the US and be authorized to work in the US without employment sponsorship.\n\nStrong understanding of modern vanilla JavaScript (ES6+).\n\nExperience using Git, including the abilities to commit code, work with merge conflicts and comprehend industry standard Git workflows.\n\nExperience building out React Native components, using hooks and working with component lifecycle.\n\nExtensive knowledge of testing best practices.\n\nStrong understanding of accessibility best practices on mobile devices.\n\nExperience consuming REST APIs.\n\nUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.\n\nAbility to perform in a team environment.\n\nStrong oral and written communication skills.\n\n**Preferred Qualifications**\n\nMinimum 3 years of full-time professional experience as a native app developer.\n\nExperience developing in Swift, Objective-C, Java, or Kotlin.\n\nDemonstrable portfolio of one or more enterprise-level application(s) released on the App store or the Android market.\n\nExperience with tools such as Jest or Appium.\n\nExperience consuming GraphQL APIs.\n\nExperience creating REST and GraphQL based APIs in a Node.js environment.\n\nExperience managing or mentoring other developers.\n\nDrupal experience.\n**\nPhysical Demands\n**\nFrequently remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time.\n\nOccasional adjusting or moving of light objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.\n\nContinuous communication on live video chats, calls, and through emails and messaging platforms for the purpose of exchanging information.\n\nContinuous repetitive movements that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.\n\n[If applicable] Travel (approx. up to 5%) when required (travel not required during the pandemic)\n\n**Mental Demands**\n\nComprehension- Must continuously be able to understand direction and adhere to established procedures.
